Popular Scandinavian Coffee Pod finds a permanent home!

Scandinavian Coffee Pod Cheltenham SF Planning Limited In partnership with Edge Design Workshop, SF Planning Ltd are proud to have secured Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the conversion of an existing outbuilding to the Rear of 15 Royal Crescent, Cheltenham from underused garaging and storage to a coffee shop and studio style business units.

This conversion will allow the very popular and highly rated Scandinavian Coffee Pod to relocate from its present temporary position on St George’s Place to permanent premises facing onto Royal Well Place.

With the temporary positioning of the “Pod” coming to an end it was crucial to ensure a permanent home was secured for the business within a short and challenging timescale.  Thanks also go to Cheltenham Borough Council officers for recognising the urgency of the situation and for guiding the application through to a positive conclusion.

The iconic yellow Pod is synonymous with the Scandinavian Coffee Pod brand.  Edge Design Workshop have produced a stunning contemporary approach that both preserves the historic character of the outbuilding, whilst allowing the Pod to integrate seamlessly into the design.  The proposals will add a touch of vibrancy and colour to the Royal Well Place frontage.

Scandinavian Coffee Pod Cheltenham SF Planning LimitedAlso included in the proposals are three studio business units, suitable for both start-ups and businesses only requiring a small amount of office space.  This will enhance and compliment the existing office space available within the town centre, providing much needed flexibility for smaller businesses.
