Cotswold RDA – Riding for the disabled Association

charity

We are hoping to open our first charity shop in the coming months. The charity shop will help us to raise funds to support the costs of providing riding lessons and other equine based activities for disabled adults and children to include “Tea with a Pony” sessions for people living with dementia. The shop will offer the expected offering of second-hand clothing and accessories, but with an innovation of a speciality in equine and country clothing. It will be the first charity shop supporting RDA and we hope to involve other RDA groups also based in Gloucestershire.

We have a draft lease with 35 High Street Tewkesbury, a grade II listed building within the Tewkesbury conservation area. We approached SF Planning and they have kindly offered their services free of charge to help with our change of use and advertising application.
This is an extremely important project for our charity and we are extremely grateful to SF Planning for their support in turning this dream into a reality.

“Cotswold Riding for the Disabled Associated is a renowned charity in the Gloucestershire area – their work is invaluable and so we are honoured to assist with this application, free of charge and are delighted to be able to help.’ Gary Dickens, SF Planning.

Take a look at their website and please follow RDA on Facebook.
