Gloucester Academy Handed Over

SF Planning was very pleased to assist in achieving planning permission in June 2012 for the new Gloucester Academy, Painswick Road, Gloucester.  Working on behalf of Kier Construction, achieving permission swiftly was crucial to enable the delivery of the Academy and the associated Sports Centre in advance of the forthcoming academic year.

The building has been completed and delivered on time, with the handover to The Academy’s John Reilly taking place just a couple of days ago.  Simon Firkins said: “It’s great to see the building completed; particularly with such an exciting design and bringing with it significant public benefits in terms of the quality of educational space and the enhanced sporting facilities to the benefit of the wider community”.
