SF Planning Sponsors Local Triathlete, Ben Bowers on His Team GB Journey
SF Planning are proud to announce our sponsorship of Tewkesbury Triathlon Club athlete, Ben Bowers, as he pursues qualification for the Great Britain Age Group Team in the 2026 season.
Ben’s journey into triathlon began just two years ago, when he joined Tewkesbury Triathlon Club. After several years away from competitive sport, ben was in search of a new challenge. Juggling the demands of a young family while running his own business, he turned to multisport training as a way to rebuild fitness, focus his mind, and rediscover the joy of pushing personal limits.
What began as a way to get fitter, quickly developed into something more ambitious. Training alongside experienced athletes within the club proved inspirational. It wasn’t long before Ben had set a bold goal: to represent Great Britain at age‑group level.
The 2025 season brought its share of highs and lows. Ben faced the disappointment of withdrawing from what would have been his debut GB age‑group championship race. But his determination and commitment paid off, and he went on to qualify for both the European and World Age Group Sprint Championships, an incredible achievement for someone with only two seasons of experience.
Looking ahead, Ben has his sights firmly set on the 2026 season. His primary goal is clear, to secure his place as a GB age‑group athlete and continue progressing within the sport.
