The South Worcestershire Councils (Wychavon, Worcester and Malvern Hills) have recently announced that they are undertaking a new call for sites exercise.  This is a good opportunity to update the information on any previously submitted sites, and to submit new sites to the process.

The reason for the consultation relates to the Stage 1 Hearing into the South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP) and the need to increase the number of homes required throughout the plan period (to 2030).  This is likely to require additional land to be allocated in due course for the Stage 2 Hearings.
