Eco-holiday Cabins Approved nr Skegness

Planning permission

SFP are happy to report full planning permission has been granted by East Lindsey District Council on a site close to Skegness for 10 eco-holiday cabins with associated reception cabin, green house, vehicle parking, fishing pitches and associated works. The proposed holiday accommodation will be set around a lake, with fishing pegs, a communal vegetable garden with a greenhouse for visitors to use to ensure the facility is as sustainable and self-sufficient as it can be.

We acted as Planning Consultant on this project and our Planning Statement analysed the site, the relevant planning policies and discussed the planning considerations raised by the proposed development. The statement went on to demonstrate there was a conclusive case for planning permission to be granted. We worked with Buckmaster Batcup Architects Ltd and assisted in putting together a wider consultant team to ensure all planning considerations were covered within the submission to ensure the smooth running of the planning application, which was granted at the first time of asking.

The application was submitted on the back on the back of positive and proactive pre-application discussions with the Council and our submission built on the helpful comments received from officers as part of the early stages.

SFP are providing planning advice on a number of holiday and tourism developments across the country and should you require help with gaining planning permission for something similar or for any project, large or small, then please contact us now: info@sfplanning.co.uk
