The Government has released the much awaited Draft of Planning Policy Statement 15 on ‘Planning for the Historic Environment’ today

The new PPS seeks to combine the guidance in PPG15 on the historic environment and PPG16 on archaeology.  The consultation period runs until 30 October 2009.
