New family housing approved in Tower Hamlets

Working with PAPA Architects and the wider consultant team including EAS Transport Planning and Jomas Associates, SFP are pleased to have helped achieve a residential planning permission within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

The scheme will redevelop a redundant car park in a highly accessible location within Limehouse to provide additional housing. The redevelopment scheme will provide four new mews style family houses, each with their own good sized private garden area. The development is set around a wider courtyard which includes secure cycle storage and hard and soft landscaping to improve the appearance of the site.

The proposals align with the Mayors policy to bring forward redundant “small” sites, which can often be delivered quickly by small to medium size developers to boost housing supply in London. Planning permission was granted by Tower Hamlets within the 8 week target date and followed a positive and proactive pre-application submission lead by SFP.
