New Rural Development in Stroud District

SF Planning and RRA Architects have helped to achieve planning permission for a rural development involving a new estates office for our client. This involves the conversion of a redundant building on our client’s wider landholding.

The scheme for the conversion of an existing building in a rural location near Cranham, supports the sustainable growth of an existing agricultural business and is wholly supported by the NPPF and Stroud’s adopted local plan.

Permission from the council was granted at the first time of asking under delegated authority. We submitted and managed the planning application for the conversion of the rural building. Our planning statement included robust justification for the development in social, economic and environmental terms.

We are delighted to have played our part in a scheme that allows this former farm to continue its ongoing diversification projects, supporting the local rural economy.
